Ayala Property Management Corp. (APMC), the property management arm of Ayala Land Inc., was recently awarded with ISO 50001:2018, which certifies that its Energy Management System (EnMS) is at par with international standards. APMC is the first property management business in the country to receive the ISO 50001 certification.
Certifying body Certification International Philippines, Inc (CIP) thru QSCert, audited APMC’s compliance in various EnMS processes, as well as recognized its energy efficiency and conservation programs which involve the review and implementation of strategic operations adjustments, use of commercial energy conservation tech nologies, use of renewable energy, and research on next generation cutting-edge innovations.
CIP also noted APMC’s commitment to oversee the continuous improvement of its energy performance and its overall year-on-year carbon footprint reduction despite its growing volume. The auditors also lauded APMC’s accolades, particularly its streak of DOE Don Emilio Abello Energy Efficiency Awards (DEAEEA) and ASEAN Energy Awards since 2010.
ISO 50001 is APMC’s fourth international standard management system certification along with its earlier attained ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 for Health and Safety Management.
APMC is currently managing over 200 properties nationwide of various types, ranging from residential buildings, select malls, office buildings, parking facilities and estates encompassing more than 100 million square meters all over the Philippines making it the biggest property management company in the country.
