CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has earned its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.
The certification is on the agency’s public administration activities in the field of conservation, management, development, and proper use of the country’s environment and natural resources.
ISO is an organization that works towards ensuring the quality and safety of products and services around the globe.
ISO 9001:2015 provides international ISO standards to aid organizations in improving processes and services. It covers seven key areas that include the context of the organization, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement.
DENR Regional Executive Director Paquito Moreno, Jr. said the ISO 9001: 2015 certification marks the organization’s commitment to continuously advance public service delivery for the people of Central Luzon.
