ISO 45001 is divided into ten clauses.
The ten clauses of the standard are:
1. Scope
2. Normative References
3. Terms and Definitions
4. Context of the Organization
5. Leadership and Worker Participation
6. Planning
7. Support
8. Operation
9. Performance Evaluation
10. Improvement
Each clause covers a specific aspect of
occupational
health and safety management systems and provides guidance on how to
establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve the system. The clauses
are designed to be implemented in a systematic and integrated way to ensure
that the organization effectively manages its occupational health and safety
risks and meets its legal and other requirements.
